From the Idea, to the Machine,
To the Customized System
How We Make It Possible to Print Your Vision.
The goal of all our developments is excellence. In short: it must work, it must last and it must pay off. And not only in a standard case, but also for the most demanding of tasks.
That sort of powerful, resilient and efficient pad printing is based on more than just excellent machines. Rather, it is the perfect interaction of all system components: machine, pad, ink, cup, blade... – but also of process consulting, training, maintenance and, last but not least, the respective adaptation and optimization (customizing) of the system to the specific requirements of each customer.
Helping people print their vision is our daily task – and not just onto a very wide range of substrates and the most complex of surfaces, but also using more than just inks. Whether applying active medical ingredients (nicotine patch) or adhesives, lubricants or release agents, or even applying and inserting LEDs, it's all part of business as usual for us.
As a system developer and machine construction firm, our task is always to enable you to print your vision. To help with this, we have three "departments" who are at you service, individually or in combination:
- for feasibility studies and process development PROCESS CONSULTING
- for the development of inks and other printable media INK LAB
- for technical implementation in lines and machine construction, and for process optimization PRACTICAL WORKSHOP
Our Process Consulting:
Differentiated Analyses, Clever Engineering and Efficient Optimization.
There are three reasons because of which customers generally use our process consulting service: feasibility, process design and optimization.
We don't really like the term feasibility study. We prefer to talk about enabling. Our principle is: if it is viscous, we can print with it. And, if appropriate, followed by laser labeling too. We're more than happy to work out how it will work, last and pay off for you.
When it comes to the profitability of modern production lines, process design is playing an ever greater role. The printing station is often a challenging element within these lines. As developers of these pad printing machines, materials and processes, we have control of this element. Your line should have control of it too. That's why we provide support in process design – so that it works, lasts and pays off.
The optimization of processes is a frequently underestimated source of revenue. In particular when it comes to processes that run stably for years at a time, this potential for savings and thus for extra profit is often underestimated. Our process consulting helps you to identify and exploit this potential that was not available when your line was first constructed but can now be “retrofitted” so that it works better, lasts longer and pays off even more.
Our Ink Lab:
If It Is Viscous, We Can Print with It.
Our principle of excellence applies to pad printing inks too: they should work, last and pay off.
To make this happen for your ink requirement, we have our own ink lab. In the lab, our experienced experts are not just making sure they pick the right color. They are also making sure the ink is suitable for all other requirements of your process. Time to dry, resistance to sunlight and abrasion, and environmental requirements are just some of the issues that our team solves and overcomes on a daily basis. With increasing frequency it is no longer just about inks, but about application of lubricants, adhesives or release agents, or even active medical agents.
Our claim: if it is viscous, it can be transferred using pad printing. How well we achieve this is shown by the fact that our ink lab now increasingly solves problems for third-party lines too. We do so well, and with pleasure. Naturally, our advice is: come straight to us, we're the market leader. And of course, our system solutions already include the expertise of our ink lab.
Our Practical Workshop:
Applying the Concept to Your Operational Process.
When it comes to printing, once doesn't count. If the first print works under laboratory conditions, that isn't excellence. For excellence, the brilliant result needs to be reproducible in practice as often (and fast) as needed.
That's why we have our own department to achieve this: our practical workshop. This is where clever engineers and experienced printers work together to turn your printing task into a stable, high-performance process. In other words, we make sure that it works, that it is stable, and that it pays off for you.
