Press Release to Fakuma 2018
Flexible Production-Process through standardized Manual Workstations based on the MODULE ONE Series

Since over 60 years is the TAMPOPRINT AG the system supplier of automations and single-user stations for pad printing and laser markings, and is the specialist for exact labelling, as well as decorations on al-most every surface and shapes. “Our concept for success”, says Winfried Philipp, founder and chairman of TAMPOPRINT AG, is “being better in spirit, know more and be more reliable than others”. With several new inventions and the slogan “Flexible production process through standardized manual workstations”, TAMPOPRINT travels to this year’s FAKUMA.

“On hand of the progressive digitization, production processes are getting faster and the products always more individual, e.g. diverse. The product life cycle is getting shorter, therefore future modifications must be addressed immediately. This process must be controlled and optimized. Simultaneously the handling and operation of continuously more complex working machines/automations must be designed as simply as possible”, so says Oliver Nitschke, CTO of TAMPOPRINT.

With the market introduction of the MODULE ONE S and MODULE ONE M, TAMPOPRINT already suc-cessfully adopted a future oriented path. Now the MODULE ONE series is to be extended through man-ual work stations with standardized assemblies. With immediate effect, MODULE ONE XS and MODULE ONE XXS belong to the MODULE ONE series of TAMPOPRINT AG.

The principle of a flexible, modular building block is still the basis, however differs in the machine concept. The MODULE ONE XXS and MODULE ONE XS are construed for the printing of parts, which require simple On- and Off-Loading with manual work station operation. A compact frame with a safeguard, as well as three pad printing machines from the series HERMETIC, SEALED INK CUP E and V-DUO are the corner stones. The maximum ink/doctoring cup size is 130 mm; therefore, the typical applications are found in the scope of smaller components. The differences rest with the additions: The basic equipment of the MODULE ONE XXS is based on the addition of light barriers. The MODULE ONE XS is available with the addition of a rotary index table, which serves as feeding aid.

Focused on flexible and standardized system solutions and the future-proof production, TAMPOPRINT will also present accessory innovations at FAKUMA 2018. A new ink/doctoring cup system is going to be introduced. It shows a completely re-worked design, as well as an improved ventilation concept. The sys-tem, registered for patent, will furthermore reduce the increase of viscosity of the printing ink, which leads to a stable printing process for many hours.

The complete MODULE ONE series will be exhibited at the international trade show for plastics pro-cessing “FAKUMA 2018” in Friedrichshafen and can be seen in live operation. Interested visitors are invited to inspect these innovations and much more at the booth of TAMPOPRINT AG in Hall A1, Booth 1226.
