MODULE ONE - One Process, One Machine
With the increasingly shorter product cycles, the inquiries for flexible and modular means of production is increasing. TAMPOPRINT realized this early and introduced 2014 at the FAKUMA Trade Show the Modular Automation Platform MAP. That this concept would pan out, was perceived with the fast success in various industries. The uniform foundation and the - characteristic for the MAP - internally arranged printing units, ensure great flexibility and an immensely reduced setup time.
With the introduction of a modular concept for standard machines, TAMPOPRNT will repeat this accomplishment. Central element of the MODULE ONE constitutes of a milled base-plate made of one massive aluminum piece, which can flexibly be fitted in eight positions. The concept of the large doors was taken from the MAP and makes all internal components easily accessible. The operator retains a constant view of the printing process. Three pad printing machines from the series HERMETIC or SEALED INK CUP E are the cornerstones of the semi automation. Additional five positions can be assembled with components, for example pre-treatment or intermediate drying. Dr. Joerg Schuhbauer, Sales Director at TAMPOPRINT AG: “With our modular design we are closing an existing gap in the market, because the MODULE ONE is an individually configurable and universally deployable solution with sound price competitive conditions.” With one- to three-color print images (diameters up to 125 mm), the semi automation is suitable for a variety of applications, for instance in the areas of toys, electronics or household appliances.
Construction and installation are reduced through the standardization of all assemblies and ancillary options. Solely the order-related parts-holding-fixtures will be manufactured with modern CNC-machines. Customer advantage: Enormously shortened delivery times and the opportunity to respond fast and short-term to new orders.
The Semi-Automation will be displayed for the first time at the K-2016 at the booth of the TAMPOPRINT AG (Hall 4, Booth C46). Dietmar Scholz, Sales Manager for machines and laser-systems: “We are already known to present approved systems, new and improved. This was already demonstrated two years ago with the introduction of MAP. I am already looking forward to present our youngest new development and the reaction from the exhibition visitors.”
