The innovative thing about this pad printing system is that it allows the jigs to be interchanged for all the various cover parts used in a mobile phone. This means that all the parts of a mobile phone requiring decoration can be printed on one and the same pad printing machine using a corresponding number of cycles on the automated system. The parts are held on the interchangeable jig carrier by a vacuum. The printing system may involve up to 5 pad printing inks. 5 "Hermetic 6-11" pad printing machines featuring the ink/doctor system patented by Tampoprint are used. These pad printing machines also have an integrated ink residue pick-up system (patent application submitted) and two other features: A variable pad stroke and variable doctor pressure (patent applications also submitted). The maximum attainable speed depends on the operator and is up to 1200 parts an hour. Every pad printing machine with individual control is monitored by a central PLC control and sits on a x/y cross table, which is used to correctly set the multi-color pad print motif. Output: Up to 1200 mobile phone covers / hour The mobile phone covers are added and removed manually by operating staff. Number of colors: Up to 5 pad printing inks |
