For caps with a diameter of up to 30 mm, the complete circumference can be printed at an output of approx. 20,000 items/h. This is possible with partial printing for caps with larger diameters. The output data must be calculated separately for such cases.
The "Top Spin-MC" model is used for multi-colour printing. With this model, the colours are aligned to one another on the circumference. Appropriate feeding is selected depending on the cap.
Caps made from PP or PE are pre-treated using gas so that the ink bonds with the cap.
On request, the "Top Spin" is designed for printing with UV ink. Additional integrated air drying ensures that solvent-based inks can still be used. The key benefit of these combined installations is the fact that depending on application, the optimum ink technology can be used. For example, when printing light ink shades on dark cap surfaces, a solvent-based ink can be used if the UV ink is not offering sufficient ink coverage. This crucial advantage offered by the tampon printing procedure allows the "Top Spin" model to achieve a considerably higher print image quality than other printing procedures. Very fine lettering can also be printed.
The flexibility of the tampon roller allows caps with a slightly sloping outer edge to be printed.
Octabin
emptying. On request, the supply tank of the ascending
conveyor can be filled using tilting octabin stations.
Camera
/ print image check. As an option, the print image can
be checked during drying using a camera or filled at the end
of the drying belt by switching into in cartons. |
